In First Crush's innaugeral attempt at this long-standing tradition, we took 2nd Place.
Each year, in celebration of Wine Fest, Paso Robles Wine Country Alliance along with the Paso Robles Downtown Association pair wineries with windows of downtown merchants. This year's theme was "Diamonds & Pears." More than 30 wineries and merchants participated. They are given a theme are charged with the task of tying the wine, the window and the theme together. The winning windows are determined by Originality, Wine Festival Theme and the Best Use of the Window.
"The Cottage is located on Pine Street between 13th & 14th Streets. Based on the beautiful jewelry and decor at the Cottage and our First Crush wine names -- Puppy Love, Soul Mate, French Kiss, Promiscuous and Tickled Pink, owners Becky Zelinski (First Crush) and Sandy (The Cottage) -- decided to play up the "love and romance theme" with pictures adolescents exerpiencing their First Crush!
